This reduces clashes, rework and queries from Building Control and the planning authority.
What to Expect When You Instruct DVC
On receipt of an enquiry, we will review the project information provided and respond with a fee proposal and programme within one working day for standard commercial scopes. The fee proposal will set out the scope of work clearly, define the deliverables, confirm the programme and state the fee. No work will commence until the proposal is accepted in writing.
During the commission, we maintain direct communication with the project manager, contractor and architect. Building Control queries are responded to promptly, typically within one to two working days. Site visits are arranged at intervals agreed at appointment stage, with inspection reports issued promptly following each visit.
At completion, we provide the client with a complete set of issued structural drawings and calculations. Retention of records and document management arrangements are agreed at appointment stage to suit the client's requirements.
