A measured survey is an accurate record of an existing building's layout and dimensions. It captures floor plans, elevations, and cross-sections in a format that can be used directly by architects, structural engineers, and planning consultants.

Without an accurate measured survey, design work proceeds on assumptions about existing conditions — a common source of abortive work and costly changes later in the project.

When a measured survey is combined with structural design services, the flow from existing conditions through to completed structural design is significantly streamlined. We can carry out the survey, identify structural elements, and proceed directly to design — eliminating the need for a separate survey appointment and reducing the overall programme.

All survey outputs are issued in digital format, at scale, and suitable for use by the wider design team. We can issue drawings in PDF and DWG format, coordinated with any existing information provided by the client or their architect.
